Little Tara

I recently moved from Oregon to Minnesota and my little dog Tara got caught in some sort of a trap or something (haven't found out exactly where accident occurred yet) and had to have both her back legs amputated on 07/20/09. Tara is only one and a half years old and weighs 13 lbs. Many people I know have stated "how could you do that to her?" and "wouldn't it be easier to put her to sleep?" She is the happiest little dog in the world and I couldn’t bear to put her to sleep just because her back legs are missing. She is my little ray of sunshine.
